The Hotel Pod Wawelem is a contemporary hotel built in 2006 and situated in the centre of historic Krakow, 50 metres from the 16th century Wawel Royal Castle. The 48 air conditioned guestrooms are located over six floors and have modern decor in neutral tones with light wood furnishings. All guestrooms include satellite television, Internet connections, desks with telephones and bathrooms with showers and hair dryers. Hypo allergenic bedding is available on request as are irons and ironing boards.
Guests can enjoy a work out using the fitness equipment, and then relax in the steam room or sauna. The Restaurant Lemonday serves a fusion of Polish and European cuisine in a light contemporary setting. Lemonday Caf� offers coffees, teas and cakes on the fifth floor terrace, which has superb views across Krakow, and Lemonday Pub serves a wide range of drinks from around the world. Multilingual staff at the 24 hour front desk, which has a safe deposit box, are happy to offer advice and information about conference room are available. Guests can visit the Wawel Royal Castle or Vistula River 50 metres away, or the Market Square one kilometre away. Krakow's main railway station is two kilometres from the hotel and Krakow Airport is 14 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.
