Hotel Features. The City Hotel Mercator is a modern, seven story boutique hotel. Amenities include a safe deposit box, laundry facilities and multilingual staff. Dry cleaning services can be arranged and wireless Internet access is offered in the hotel's public areas. The hotel features its own parking garage (surcharge applies). A breakfast buffet with hot and cold dishes is served each morning until 10 a.m. Drinks are served in the informal lounge bar. Expert Tip. The Oder town bridge connects Frankfurt to the Polish town of Slubice. A passport or ID card is required to cross the border. For a break from the city, head for the sandy beaches of Lake Helenesee, ten kilometres away.

From Frankfurt Airport (FRA):
Distance to City Hotel Mercator is 12 kilometres, approximately 25 minutes' drive.
Getting there. There are two passenger railway stations at Frankfurt airport: the Fernbahnof (long distance) station and the Regional train station. Both can be accessed by a Sky Line monorail or a shuttle bus. Lines S8 and S9 of the S Bahn go to the Hauptbahnhof (central station) and the city centre. Regular buses to the city centre depart from Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 (level 2). Taxis to the city centre cost about 20 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. Frankfurt's public transport system includes the S Bahn (over ground), the U Bahn (underground), and buses and trams. Tickets are available at most stops for daily or hourly use. The city centre is easily explored on foot. Cycling is a popular form of transport, and many streets have cycle lanes. Taxis can be hailed in the street.
